Attendance at Rotary Club Meeting

Rotary club is a service club through fellowship. In order to achieve the objectives, there are two important things to be achieved by a club.

The first is attendance at weekly meeting to build the fellowship among members. The second is the membership classification rule. It means that the club will only admit professionals/leaders from all professions up to a maximum of 10% of the membership. It means there cannot be more than 10% of members with same profession.

Personally I think the weekly attendance is the most difficult, but it is not impossible. It is even more difficult for busy professionals. This is where the Rotary E-Club of 3310 comes is. Instead of weekly meeting, we meet over the cyber. It means we discuss matters and interact with each other through our online forum. However, we are unique. We always have once a month physical meeting. This is very important as it will further foster a stronger bonding among members. It can become the catalyst to boost the bonding and fellowship.

No doubt we are still a prototype club, we are pioneering many 'firsts' in the Rotary world. I will discuss the others in the future.
